(Josie, me, and Mario)
After saying our goodbyes, we left Las Vegas around 11am.
The drive out of Las Vegas and into Utah is kind of boring....

(He'd be upset if he knew I posted this)
Well, it took about 4 1/2 hours to get to Salt Lake City, Utah. I had planned for us to stop there, but once we arrived, we agreed we could keep going. So, we continued to drive through Utah and into Wyoming.
The scenery changes when driving into Wyoming. It gets flatter, and the land is covered with long, yellow grass. Like this.....
(Wyoming moon rising)
Anyhow, we parked on the shoulder at the state line of Utah and Wyoming to take some pictures...

(Walking back to the FJ)
Driving through Wyoming, there isn't much to see, except cows. So Vincent and I got REALLY excited when we saw these wind turbines. We actually have too many pictures of these....
We also got very exctied at this tunnel....
(A tunnel in Wyoming?)
(The Love's gas station was our last stop this day)
Around one in the morning, after I took a nice, little nap, we decided to stop in Cheyenne, the state capital. It's in the far south eastern corner of the state, not far from our next stop, Mount Rushmore.
DAY TWO:
Las Vegas to Cheyenne: 840 miles
Las Vegas to Cheyenne: 840 miles
Total miles traveled: 1,115 miles
